Welcome to
Narrow Path Prison Ministry
Prison ministry is very challenging and requires a special person who is called by God to go into very difficult and tense situations. This individual must be able to deliver a message of hope and a special kind of love to those who are incarcerated. One such man is Rev. Gordon Coppersmith. The Lord has chosen him for this unique home mission field. Lives are being touched by this outreach, as he shares the hope of salvation to those with whom he meets.

Pastor Coppersmith began working in prison ministry in 1983. He was ordained December 31, 1986 by Miller’s Evangelistic Association. He has been a volunteer chaplain at the McKean County Prison in Smethport, PA since November 1994.
Each year, more than 600,000 men, women and youth are released from U.S. prisons and jails. An inmate whose life was transformed by the scriptural truths of God’s Word once said: "If you are a victim of crime, and you see someone who has victimized you going to prison, you don’t want the same guy who went in to be released. And I guarantee that most of us will be released - you want a changed man coming out."
